DEVELOP THE LOVE — share the journey

About

Solo has a ceiling. WorkLife Sprints exists because most goals — at work and in life — are easier to reach in the company of a few people who are chasing something of their own and expect to hear how you got on.

What we do

We put people into small groups with a shared purpose and a fixed rhythm, then get out of the way. There is no curriculum and no guru: the value comes from the other members and from having somewhere to say what you actually did this week.

If a member has expertise to share, they are welcome to offer a Masterclass to fellow members. In contrast to Pod Sessions, which are entirely participatory, Masterclasses follow the traditional “one to many” training format with Q&A at the end.

The four words we use

  • — Cohort: a free, open group built around an identity, a goal or an interest. Join as many as you like.
  • — Pod: 3 to 9 members who commit to five weeks together. All Pods should offer 9 seats.
  • — Session: the weekly 30-minute meeting where a Pod plans and reports back.
  • — Sprint: the work you do between Sessions.

How the community is run

Every Cohort and Pod runs under our Community Standards: respectful participation, confidentiality within the Pod, and telling the group when you cannot make a Session. Pods have a facilitator drawn from the membership, and members can propose new Cohorts and Pods — the ones people vote for get built.

Concerns go to a real person. Email amanda@headstarted.co.uk and we will look into it and reply.

What it costs

Cohorts are free. Pod membership is £10 a month, starting when you join your first Pod. Cancel any time.

See cancellation and refunds for the detail.

Who is behind it

WorkLife Sprints is an independent, member-funded community based in the UK. We're keeping numbers deliberately small so it always feels like home. If you want to know more about who runs it, or you would like to facilitate, host a Masterclass or partner with us, get in touch.
